Getting the soil ready for growing...

Our club started by moving all of the manure to the raised beds - manure has all the nutrients that our plants will need to grow.

We opened all of the bags and poured it into the beds, then we mixed it into the soil which was already there using trowels, spades and our hands!

We were very careful not to waste any of the manure.

 

 

 


Next week we are looking forward to adding the labels we made to the raised beds and the poly tunnel and we're hoping for drier weather and maybe even a bit of sunshine!
